Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized statement, "A strange confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.
The questline centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana together with several artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
